Top 6: Skincare and Hair Care Products to Try This Season
The amount of beauty and hair care products out there can be overwhelming for all of us. From lip shades and shadows to gadgets and target treatments, it's, WELL, alot. As a beauty obsessive gal who is constantly trying new skincare and makeup products, I've narrowed down a long list of favorites to just 6 must-haves that I think are worth getting your hands on – like, now! Get to scrolling and don't forget to thank me later.
I love a good SPF and this star-spangled cutie is all the things. Supergoop released this mist in collaboration with Milly this summer and I had to get my hands on it. I'm only human and sometimes forget to apply my Supergoop Everyday SPF 50 in the morning so this is beyond perfect for making sure my skin is protected after I've applied my makeup and don't want to rub an SPF on top of products. For days I know I'm going to be outside or out and about running errands I'll toss this in my bag and spritz my face every so often – it's such a convenient, fuss-free way to reapply sunscreen. It doesn't ruin my makeup, it doesn't have a smell, it's not sticky, it just does exactly what it's suppose to do and I love that. I'm big on preventative skincare and protecting my skin from the sun so this has been a great way to keep the sun damage at bay in a way that fits seamlessly into my routine.

The summer heat has been pretty drying on my hair so when I went in for my cut and color several months ago I asked for an at-home treatment that would protect, soften and repair my strands in between salon visits. I've been using this new leave-in strengthening milk for several months now and it's made such a difference! The product works to strengthen and rebuild the hair fibers, has cuts drying time, and leaves my hair silky soft without weighing it down. Before using this my hair felt dry and brittle in the morning but now my hair is much more manageable, making it way easier to fix and looks much healthier when it's styled.

This is the last step in my nighttime skincare routine. I've been using the Zoria lash serum and mascara for about a month and already seeing growth along my lashes. My lashes are naturally pretty short and straight so I've tried several other serums and they've always irritated my eyes so I've had to discontinue use but several months ago I wanted to find one that would not irritate my skin as so many do. This one was recommended to me from Aesthetic & Laser Center and I'm really happy with it. Without mascara the lashes are noticeably longer and then with a few quick coats of the Zoria mascara my lashes are fuller, longer and have a nice curl to them.

I've been eyeing Briogeo hair products for years and finally went for it when this new green-juice inspired shampoo and conditioner duo launched this summer. Not only is the packaging aesthetically pleasing it smells delicious like apples and I look forward to using the combo every time I step into the shower. The shampoo lathers nicely when I massage it into my scalp and the conditioner is nourishing while still being lightweight, leaving my hair feeling clean, nourished and prepped for styling. It's a bit pricey for shampoo and conditioner but you get what you pay for – it's packed with clean, natural ingredients that put life back into my hair so it's worth the splurge for me.

I've never met a Drunk Elephant product that I didn't completely love, and the C-Tango eye cream has become no exception. Drunk Elephant uses only clean, fragrance-free ingredients, which gives me confidence that my skin is not going to have a negative reaction as many products with mysterious ingredients do. Since the eye area is sensitive I knew I could count on DE to deliver results in a powerful but gentle way. This eye cream has been AMAZING for my under eye area – my eyes looks firmer and smoother and my dark circles and puffiness are almost completely gone when I'm consistent with this. I apply the C-Tango before bed and let the antioxidants and plant oils soak into my skin so that I wake up with skin that looks refreshed and bright by morning.

Talk about a major dose of hydration for my skin! The Tula Aqua Infusion Gel Cream is another must-have for me and I like having this in my routine for days(or weeks) that my skin just needs the extra hydration. I use two pumps and find that to be plenty to cover my face and neck. It literally feels like a tall glass of water to my skin – it's so refreshing! I apply this on a clean face before my SPF and moisturizer and it's lightweight enough that once it dries I can't even tell it's on my skin. Highly recommend.
