What a trip! It's safe to say this was by far the best girls trip I've been on. Several months ago we had thrown around the idea of taking a trip for Lauren and Ashley's 25th birthday and then we all just made it happen. We stayed in Pedregal and fit as much as we could into a weekend trip, even though by Sunday everyone was ready extend and stay longer.

Our first night, we had dinner at Toro Cabo  for Lauren and Ashley's birthday dinner. We ordered a bunch of different items from the menu – ceviches, sushi, fish tacos, etc – and shared between the table family style. We had a massive table in the middle of the restaurant so it was nice to be right in the mix and enjoy the restaurant's sophisticated and lively atmosphere. There was no shortage of tequila shots and margaritas so you know it was a good time.

On Saturday we had lunch on the beach at The Office, which is a staple for all Cabo trips – it's relaxed, the food and drinks are great, and the atmosphere is so fun! The tables are situated down in the sand, a mariachi band makes it's way around the tables and women in costumes walk around for photo ops. I ordered a Coronarita and we laughed hysterically when my drink arrived  in the biggest mug I had ever seen. I've heard it gets really wild into the late afternoon but we were onto our next activity by 2pm or so.

For dinner that night, we took a bus out to Acre Baja, a stylish resort and restaurant spread out on a 25-acre farm and houses guests in chic, modernized one bedroom treehouses. Before dinner the owner of the resort greeted us and offered us a tour of the grounds so it was neat to check out the property, even though I'd love to go back when it's not dark outside to get the full effect. I loved the open-air restaurant – the food and drinks were great, the atmosphere was upscale chic and the service was friendly and fast – definitely worthy of a return trip.

In between the delicious meals (and countless margaritas) we hung out by the pool and went down to the beach. An extra day or two would have been nice but we took advantage of the time we had and it was perfect.

I'm so glad I was able to go on this trip, and thankful for the memories made and my girlfriends for making it so much fun. If you want to see more from my trip, go to the "Travel" tab on my InstaStories highlights
