Top 6: Beauty Products of the Week
The amount of beauty products out there can be overwhelming for all of us. From lip shades and shimmery shadows to remedies and target treatments, it's, WELL, alot. As a beauty obsessive gal who is constantly trying new skincare and makeup products, I'll be rounding up my top 6 must-haves once a week so that you don't have to do the leg work! Check back each week to find out which products should be on your radar next.
Little MAC Prep & Prime Fix+
This is going in my travel carry-on to Mexico! We've all tried the MAC Prime Fix and moved on to newer setting sprays from different brands but I picked up this little baby because I've seen it in YouTube makeup tutorials lately used in several interesting ways like spray on your brush to intensify your eyeshadow and highlighter and smooth the shimmer, spray on your beauty blender for a dewy complexion prior to applying foundation, and onto the eyeshadow brush to intensify color. I'm trying to get more creative with my eyeshadows so I thought this would help make a shimmery look pop. I haven't tried a setting spray that smells as nice as this one, and I like that it's infused with vitamins and minerals so I'll be misting before and after makeup, and throughout the day to give my makeup a boost of freshness.

Tarte Tartlette Toasted Palette
Both of my youngest sisters got me a bunch of makeup for Christmas this year and one of the things I got was this Tarte palette that has all the warm and cozy shades I love and feel compliment my skin tone and eyes. I gravitate toward warm, orange shades so this is perfect. The 5 shimmer shadows in this palette will be great to try out the MAC Prime Fix for that elevated shimmering look.

Nars Sheer Glow
This might not be a new foundation to the rest of the world, but it is to me. The Sheer Glow is everything I need for a flawless satin-finish foundation look. The coverage is on the lighter side, buildable, has a nice radiant shimmer to it and is the perfect color match (color Sante Fe) to my skin. I've been gravitating toward more lighter coverage so this foundation has been perfect for an effortless makeup look while still covering pigmentation and textured areas. Great all day wear and gives a smooth, healthy glow!

Obagi Nu-Derm Toner
This stuff makes my skin sing – it's just what to remove any dirt left behind from my wash and get my face completely clean. I can feel a huge the difference between this toner and any other toner I've tried – most others have cheap ingredients that dry your skin out and strip away essential natural moisture. I typically use this as needed when I have a little breakout or after a day of heavy makeup. To use, I apply toner to a cotton round and gently press (do not rub or "slide") against my skin in each area and then if I have a breakout I'll hold it on that small area for a few seconds longer.

Eucerin Q-10 Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizer
Eucerin is an authority when it comes to body moisturizers so I took a chance on this drugstore face creme and I'm so glad I did. If you’re someone who gets really dry skin in the winter, this cream is going to be your savior. It's very rich and mega thick so on my dry days I lather this on and come morning time my skin is quenched and plump. Since it's so thick and doesn't have SPF I only use this at night. Also, for the price you really can't beat it.

Drunk Elephant Hydration Gel + Day Serum Duo
Hydration? Check. Antioxidant protection? Check. This dynamic duo replenishes hydration for a glowing complexion. I get asked how to achieve that dewy, glowing look and it's products like this that work really well to restore moisture and brighten skin – with and without my makeup. I love lathering on the hydration gel morning and night underneath my moisturizer and can tell a difference every time I use it.
