My Favorite Make Up For Ever Products

This post was created in collaboration with Make Up For Ever. All opinions are my own.

I have always been a fan of Make Up For Ever foundations and under eye concealers so when they reached out to see if I would be interested in trying some products from their new Ultra HD collection I couldn't wait to get my hands on them. I've had some time now to play around with them and safe to say all of them blew me away.

Most recognizable, the Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation has been reformulated from the original HD foundation and it's hands down one of my favorite foundations I've ever tried. I happened to still have my original formula foundation and was able to compare the two, and I found that the new formula is much more lightweight (not cakey at all) in comparison to the old one and appears "invisible" on the skin while still providing excellent coverage. The old formula is one that I would only wear when going out for the evening, but the Ultra HD has been perfect for everyday wear – it looks very natural and it lasts all day long. The coverage is buildable so if like more coverage or you are concealing to cover imperfections just apply in thin layers to desired look.

I've never found a primer that feels as soft and smooth, and keeps my makeup looking fresh and flawless quite like the Step 1 Skin Equalizer Primer. It smooths out my skin's texture and uneven skin tone, and it feels so hydrating unlike many out there. It comes in 10 formulas to target all skin concerns. The clear formula has worked really well for me, but the radiant finish looks really pretty so I'm going to try that one next.

I've especially liked the Ultra HD Lip Booster and use it every single day. I love my YouTube makeup tutorials and in one video, celebrity makeup artist Patrick Ta said that he always begins a clients makeup look by moisturizing the lips so that when he's done with the face and it's time to apply lipstick, the lips are "nice, luscious, and moisturized" for a flawless lip application. This lip serum gives a plump look, is super hydrating, isn't sticky at all, and can be worn alone for just a little color and shine – it's perfect.

Oh my goodness, this highlight is on fleeeeek! A little goes a long way but the Star Lit Liquid eye and cheek highlighters are so great. For a dewy look, I apply a little to my finger and gently tap onto my cheek bone and then whatever is remaining on my eyelids. What I've loved about it is that it doesn't crease and it's shimmery but it still looks natural without looking not overdone.

Here is my everyday makeup look, which I like to keep very natural. I used the Ultra HD foundation, Ultra HD micro finishing loose powder, Laura Mercier loose powder in Warm Bronze on my cheeks and eyes (as eyeshadow), Anastasia Brow Wiz in Soft Brown to fill in sparse areas, Make Up For Ever brow gel to keep them in place, a coat of mascara, and  NYX soft matte lip cream in Abu Dhabi.
