Avocado Toast + Eggs

If I had to describe a perfect morning it would definitely involve avocado toast.

Can you blame me?

For one, it takes less than 15 minutes to make and I'm not trying to be Miss Betty Crocker first thing in the morning so the easier the better. Secondly, as delicious as avo toast is, it's actually very nutritious. Avocados have twice the potassium of a banana, they’re packed with fiber, they help lower levels of bad cholesterol, and have powerful anti-aging properties. Yes please! I also love it because it always holds me over no problem until lunch.

My go-to recipe is typically toasted seven-grain bread, spread avocado, jalapeño, crushed red pepper, lime, pepper, and a dash of salt. Other ingredients I love: olive oil, poached eggs, paprika, garlic, salad greens, and on. 

I also really enjoy picking out different wheat and grain breads. I like to buy mine from the bakery, where I know they are really fresh. TIP: If you're buying groceries for one you can have the attendant package whatever you need from a loaf, rather than buying a loaf and letting half of the loaf go to waste.
